I had a blog a few years ago and after returning to it I can see how much has changed in my quiet world. I have fourteen dogs and a different rat. Not all of my dogs are Labs. My mom has passed and I now have her little dog, Trinket along with a rescued min pin, Minnie. The goats are still here. The happiest change is I am a grandma or "NaNa" as my little Mandarin speaking beauty says when I visit her on Skype. She lives in Tianjin China with here daddy, my son, Sam, and here momma, my beautiful daughter-in-law, Zhou You. Her name is Janet Grace Billing (Janny Grace) and I love her more than I ever thought possible. Because she is so far away I don't see her as often as I'd like (understatement) but I dream of a time that I will.
I'm still a teacher and I still love it though I am considering retirement down the line. We'll see.
